Purva Pardeshi is an upcoming Fashion Designer based in Pune. She started her own label RED by Purva Pardeshi in 2015.

About the Label

Red by Purva Pardeshi has been a vision spun out of yards of handwork and dedication and woven into reality; a dream that was brought to life 2 years back when I set up my own private studio in Pune. Considering that creativity is a primary prerequisite for a couture designer, the studio serves a dual purpose of a workshop as well as a showroom for our clients. With a formal education in Fashion Designing from Symbiosis Institute of Design, Purva also completed a Fashion Styling course from the London College of Style.

As far as the brand’s signature style goes, RED draws inspiration from everything around, but embroidery and surface ornamentation top the list. Purva loves experimenting with Indian embroidery by fusing it with indo -western cuts and silhouettes to create something contemporary, with a traditional twist that relates to our clients. Most of our designs use hand embroidery over machine embroidery because that's the beauty of our rich Indian heritage which I would like the outfits to reflect.

With upcoming appearances and collections in the pipeline, we at RED look forward to engaging in every opportunity we get. In the words of Bill Blass - When in doubt, wear RED!
